One of my favourite things about Spring and Summer is not only the warmer weather but the fact that when I wake up for work the Sun is already out. If it's not cloudy my apartment will fill up with this amazing warm lighting. I can't get enough of it.

Week Fifteen: American Standard

Ugly and dirty- a bit of a departure from last week's photo's bright and pretty colours. I almost posted another picture instead just to make a smoother transition but I don't think it had the same impact as this one.

Also, I think I'm in love with square orientations.

Week Fourteen: Minieggs

There was no chocolate Easter Morning for me this year, so I bought Mini Eggs on clearance on Tuesday to make up for the fact. I put a few in a cup- portion control. Once I saw them there I knew it had to be my weekly shot- I love these colours. Which means the photos I shot over the weekend for this week's post will just have to go somewhere else. Oh well.

week thirteen: lazy afternoon

Everything is closed here on Good Friday and all of my friends and family are out of town. I was planning on spending the day outside and going on a photowalk but the weather didn't cooperate.

So I spend the day in my bedroom drinking coffee, reading, and working on my laptop (this was taken while doing the later).

week twelve: lines, metal, and mud

Oh boy. A week late posting this, AND I was a day late taking it.

Excuses, excuses, I know- but in my defense I did take several pictures last week, but most of them were in the documenting-for-legal-and-insurance variety more than for any artistic purpose. I had water (or something) leaking into my apartment from my bedroom ceiling a couple of times last week- and my landlord still hasn't figured out. AND THEN- my Macbook power cord caught on fire (hence the delay in posting).

To give this photo at least a brief moment of attention, I'll upload this week's photo tomorrow.
